ATLAS Digital Journal Project

George A. Kiraz

[1] The American Theological Library Association and Hugoye: Journal of Syriac Studies are pleased to announce that ATLAS, the first major digital journal project created for religion scholars by religion scholars, will be available in January 2001.  The ATLAS collection will include more than fifty of the leading journals from all areas of theology and religion, including Hugoye. To see the most current list of journals, visit: http://rosetta.atla-certr.org/CERTR/ATLAS/FAQ.html#journals.

[2] As a subscriber to ATLAS, you can search journals through the ATLA Religion Database, view journals page by page, or specify a page and jump directly to it.  You will also be able to search for specific topics or even scripture references.  Take a virtual browse for yourself at http://purl.org/CERTR/ATLAS/Phase1.html.

[3] If you would like more information on the progress of ATLAS, contact Chuck Slagle, ATLA Sales and Marketing at (888) 665-ATLA (2852) or email: cslagle@atla.com.
